  It is the best university in East Africa and well known in Africa for producing significant people like presidents, MP's and prominent lawyers for different countries

  no doubt about this being the best university in Tanzania for it's under-graduate and post graduate studies, when we were in school the first dream was to come and study here because it had that highest reputation all over the country but the smartest or rather few were chosen, but all in all this is the best and for long the long run i believe it will always be
